I truly adore leather fragrances, and it shows in how many of them I review here on Scentsarama. AllSaints Shoreditch Leather is a new one I decided to try, and overall, I’m very impressed with how well it blends leather accord with woody notes like Sandalwood and Saffron. The leather makes it come across as very urban, yet the woodiness gives it a natural feel, mixing both modern and earthy for a unique vibe that I admire very much. The opening also has a touch of Rosewater, while the drydown incorporates a hint of Patchouli essence, generating another polarity, this time between both traditionally feminine and masculine notes that is very pleasing to the senses and delightfully unisex in its delivery. This combination of light and dark tones creates a scent that comes together in a middle ground that can easily be enjoyed by all. Shoreditch Leather is a relatively recent fragrance, debuting in 2024 as part of the brand’s London identity and association with leather jackets and the edgy East London fashion culture. The name references the Shoreditch district of London, best known for its art, nightlife, and industrial-meets-creative aesthetic. I really loved the fragrance itself, and my only criticism would be that its projection and longevity are extremely mild. It takes quite a few sprays to really get the feel of this scent, and it begins to dry down after only about an hour or two. So, if you’re looking for an attention-commanding fragrance or want its presence to remain on you for very long, you might be disappointed.
